(Baoquangngai.vn)- At the meeting, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Hoang Tuan noted that the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board actively participated with Son Tinh district in mobilizing people to promptly hand over the site for the project; ensuring the project is implemented on schedule.
On the afternoon of December 11, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Hoang Tuan chaired a meeting to listen to and give directions on resolving difficulties in the project of the Road connecting Thach Bich Bridge to Tinh Phong, the section passing through Son Tinh district.
The project of the road connecting Thach Bich bridge to Tinh Phong has a total investment of 694 billion VND, invested by the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board. The project is over 6km long, passing through Quang Ngai city and Son Tinh. Of which, the section passing through Son Tinh district is over 3km long, with 230 households and 2 organizations affected, with 11.6 hectares.
To date, the project has handed over more than 3.5km of land, reaching more than 58% of the total route length. Of which, the section passing through Son Tinh district has handed over more than 1km of land, reaching 35%.

Regarding the remaining land of the project that has not been handed over, the main problem is the section through Son Tinh district, with nearly 2km, corresponding to 101 households/186 plots of land/4.4ha, which has not yet developed a compensation, support and resettlement plan. The reason is that the specific land price to calculate compensation has not been determined and the origin of the land has not been determined.
Concluding the meeting, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Hoang Tuan acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the investor and the locality in resolving difficulties and obstacles to implement the project. However, due to many reasons, the project has not yet met the schedule. In the coming time, the locality, the investor, and related agencies and units are requested to coordinate and urgently determine the origin of the land and specific land prices to soon have a compensation plan for households, to avoid disputes; at the same time, develop a specific plan for site clearance in the coming time.

"From now until the end of 2024, Son Tinh district must completely handle the case of 28 households whose compensation plans have been approved but have not yet received compensation in the spirit of strictly implementing legal regulations and ensuring project disbursement progress. The spirit is that by the end of March 2025, the entire site must be handed over so that the contractor can soon construct and complete the project," emphasized Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Hoang Tuan.
