Speed up disbursement of traffic projects

In fact, since the beginning of 2025, the disbursement rate of the province's traffic projects has been low. Therefore, over the past 3 months, the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee have continuously conducted field surveys to grasp the situation and direct solutions to improve the situation. Thereby, the Provincial People's Committee specifically requested relevant units, departments and branches to develop detailed plans for each project, closely monitoring each week and each month. Construction units are also required to increase construction to speed up progress, both ensuring 100% disbursement this year and promoting projects to be completed on schedule.

Accordingly, many key traffic projects in the province these days are showing signs of accelerating construction, especially when the weather in the Central Highlands shifts to a more favorable dry season. At the project of constructing technical infrastructure for residential areas and resettlement in Da Oai commune, the joint venture of Van Nga Phat Co., Ltd., Tran Minh Construction Design Consulting Co., Ltd. and LH E&C Investment Joint Stock Company is actively implementing. This is an important project to serve the resettlement of households affected by the Tan Phu ( Dong Nai ) - Bao Loc (Lam Dong) Expressway project. The project has a total investment of 125.91 billion VND with an area of 12.58 hectares that has been cleared before, and is currently opening a new road connecting residential areas with DT 721 road, 702 m long, passing through 7 households and 1 organization.

Similarly, at the DT 722 route, the project is also being accelerated by the contractor Thanh Dat Joint Stock Company. This route has a total length of 18.81 km, the scale of the standard grade IV mountain road, connecting from the Dung K'No intersection (intersection with Truong Son Dong road) to the DT 722 road in Dam Rong 2 commune, Lam Dong . When completed, the road will shorten the distance between remote communes and the provincial urban center.

This project has a total investment of 600 billion VND, implemented from 2021 to 2025. The capital allocated in 2025 is 281,983 billion VND (including 191,983 billion VND of central budget capital and 90 billion VND of provincial budget capital). Up to now, 79,306 billion VND has been disbursed, reaching a rate of 28.12%; the cumulative implementation volume is estimated at about 288.63/528,185 billion VND, equivalent to 54.6%.

At a recent meeting with the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, the contractor also committed to disbursing all 191,983 billion VND of the central budget capital allocated by the end of 2025. For the 90 billion VND of the provincial budget capital, the unit plans to disburse all 30 billion VND by January 31, 2026 and request to transfer the remaining 60 billion VND to another project.

Despite the impact of heavy rain, the contractor of the DT 722 Road project is committed to speeding up, especially during the dry season. Accordingly, the contractor said that by the end of 2025, the construction of the first layer of crushed stone aggregate foundation for the entire route will be completed; the construction of protective works (negative and positive slope retaining walls), asphalt concrete pavement for 12/18.9 km and the construction of 3 important bridges at Km3+208, Km7+452 and Km9+387 will be completed. In addition, the excavation and embankment of the roadbed and the system of ditches and drainage culverts will be completed, expected to be completed by the end of 2025.

According to the reporter's records, in recent days, in addition to the above-mentioned projects, in localities, regional investment project management boards are also urgently implementing assigned tasks to complete the planned goals. Key traffic projects such as: Bao Loc - Lien Khuong Expressway project, National Highway 28B, DT 721, each part of the work has also been planned specifically and in detail to speed up progress.

At DT 721 route, the route that the Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee directly inspected and criticized the construction unit, these days at the construction site, the contractor has also made changes by mobilizing more machinery, equipment and human resources to speed up progress.

With drastic directions and urgent and synchronous participation of all levels and sectors, Lam Dong is striving to complete 100% capital disbursement, creating a strong shift in traffic infrastructure development.
