Further strengthening the relationship between the Communist Party of Vietnam and the French Communist Party

On May 27, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Party Central Committee member and Deputy Foreign Minister Nguyen Manh Cuong received comrade Taylan Coskun, Politburo member in charge of relations with Vietnam of the French Communist Party, on the occasion of his participation in a number of activities within the framework of the French President's State visit to Vietnam.

At the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Manh Cuong expressed his pleasure at meeting comrade Taylan Coskun, emphasizing the solidarity, tradition and strong relationship between the Communist Parties of Vietnam and France, and highly appreciated the significance of the meeting in contributing to further tightening the cooperative relationship between the two Parties.

The Deputy Minister affirmed that the Communist Party of Vietnam always appreciates the support and assistance of the Communist Party and the French people for Vietnam's struggle for independence and unification, as well as the cause of building, protecting and developing Vietnam today; he suggested that the two Parties continue to strengthen cooperation further, making important contributions to promoting the Vietnam-France Comprehensive Strategic Partnership to become increasingly deeper and more practical, for the benefit of the people of the two countries, for peace and development of the region and the world .

Comrade Taylan Coskun affirmed that the French Communist Party always pays attention to and attaches importance to developing relations with the Communist Party of Vietnam - a relationship that has been nurtured by the leaders of the two parties, especially President Ho Chi Minh, who participated in founding the French Communist Party; affirmed his readiness to coordinate to further deepen the multifaceted cooperation between Vietnam and France, especially people-to-people exchange, connecting businesses and localities of the two countries...

On this occasion, Deputy Minister Nguyen Manh Cuong and comrade Taylan Coskun also exchanged and updated information on the situation of the two Parties and the two countries; agreed to implement existing cooperation such as delegation exchanges, information exchanges, and coordination at multilateral political party mechanisms; agreed to promote new ideas to actively support the development of the Vietnam - France Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, including effectively and substantially implementing the results of General Secretary To Lam's visits to France (October 2024) and President Emmanuel Macron's visit to Vietnam this time.
