Taking advantage of the carelessness of the manager of the Ba Chua Xu temple at Ong Doc river (Song Doc town, Tran Van Thoi district, Ca Mau province), "shaman" Le Dai Vu stole the gold necklace around the neck of the statue of Ba.

Subject Le Dai Vu

On June 4, information from Tran Van Thoi District Police (Ca Mau Province) said that they were temporarily detaining Le Dai Vu (34 years old, residing in Ca Mau City) to investigate the act of "theft of property".

Previously, on the afternoon of June 2, taking advantage of the carelessness of the manager of the Ba Chua Xu temple at Ong Doc river mouth (Song Doc town, Tran Van Thoi district), Le Dai Vu stole an 18K gold necklace, weighing 1.4 taels, worn around the neck of the Ba Chua Xu statue.

Through verification, Song Doc Town Police discovered that Vu was the one who stole the property and hid it in his underwear. The task force brought the person and the evidence to Song Doc Town Police headquarters for questioning.

After that, Song Doc town police handed over Vu to Tran Van Thoi district police to continue investigating and handling according to authority.

It is known that this is a gold necklace brought by boat owners to worship at Ba Chua Xu Temple. Vu is a "shaman" often hired to perform rituals at Ba Chua Xu Temple.
