Three new generation STS gantry cranes manufactured by Mitsui E&S (Japan) have just arrived at berths 3 and 4 of Hai Phong international gateway port in Lach Huyen.

3 gantry cranes were brought to berths 3 and 4.

This is the second batch of equipment supplied under the Contract for "equipment and installation of 6 STS container loading and unloading cranes at the main wharf and 24 RTG tire cranes" to serve the Investment Project for construction of two wharfs No. 3 and 4 of Hai Phong international gateway port in Lach Huyen.

3 STS cranes are manufactured and assembled in Japan with a reach of up to 24 rows of containers, a lifting height of 46m with advanced inverter control technology, capable of regeneration and energy saving.

Equipping modern and environmentally friendly equipment will help improve loading and unloading and exploitation efficiency, while meeting the trend of developing green, smart seaports according to international standards.

8 eRTG tire cranes were safely transported and delivered at berths 3 and 4 Lach Huyen in November 2024.
