Last night (July 4), the Hanoi Department of Education and Training announced the 10th grade exam scores and admission scores of nearly 120 public high schools in the city. If you have any questions about the exam results and want to have your exam reviewed, please submit an application from July 4-10.

- Secondary school diploma (original or notarized copy), or temporary secondary school graduation certificate.
- CCCD (or legal proof of household registration in Hanoi of the student or parent).

Candidates attending the 10th grade entrance exam in Hanoi.
Candidates choose one of two forms of admission:
- With the online form, candidates log in with their account and password to the city's primary admission system, select the name of their admission wish and confirm their admission, choose to print or save the admission confirmation form and complete the process. In case of being admitted to multiple different wishes, candidates can change and confirm their admission again on the system before 24:00 on July 12.
- With the direct form, candidates submit a copy of the entrance exam result notice to the school they wish to be admitted to.
No later than July 17, the Department of Education and Training and specialized high schools and public high schools will meet to approve additional benchmark scores for public grade 10.
From July 19-22, schools will organize admission confirmation and receive additional admission applications (if any).
Regarding the admission principles, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training stipulates that candidates who wish to register for admission to the school will be recruited based on their admission scores from highest to lowest until the quota is filled.
Candidates who are admitted to their first choice will not be considered for the following choices. The admission scores for the second and third choices must be 1 and 2 points higher than their first choice. When the admission score is lowered, public high schools are allowed to admit students with their second and third choices who meet the admission requirements.
In early June, nearly 103,000 students in Hanoi completed the three-subject exam in Math, Literature and Foreign Language (mostly English), to get the score to enter non-specialized public grade 10. This is the first year the exam is organized according to the new generaleducation program, so the content and structure of the exam have many changes.
