High School Graduation Exam 2025: Notes for candidates before G-hour

TPO - Mr. Nghiem Van Binh, Head of the Department of Examination Management and Education Quality Assessment (Hanoi Department of Education and Training) reminded candidates about the exam schedule, time for candidates to arrive at the exam room as well as special things to remember before G-hour.

There are only a few days left until the 2025 High School Graduation Exam takes place nationwide with nearly 1.17 million candidates registered to take the exam.

In Hanoi , this year's exam, the whole city has more than 124,000 candidates registered to take the exam, an increase of about 16,000 students compared to last year. Hanoi has arranged and set up 233 exam sites across the city to serve the candidates.

To organize the exam, the City mobilized nearly 17,000 cadres, teachers, and employees to participate in the exam supervision and grading work. The City Police mobilized nearly 1,000 people to participate in the work of protecting security and safety of the exam at the exam sites and grading locations. The Department of Education and Training established teams to conduct surprise inspections of the preparation and organization of the exam; and teams to inspect the protection of exam questions and papers.

On the morning of June 23, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training held a conference to guide the High School Graduation Exam for all officials and teachers participating in the exam to thoroughly grasp the exam regulations, what needs to be done, and general principles.

The Department of Education and Training requires officials and teachers participating in the exam to ensure the principle of not being subjective or negligent; not being too stressed or pressured; and not handling situations on their own.

All situations in the exam must be handled according to regulations and assigned responsibilities.

Mr. Nghiem Van Binh, Head of the Department of Examination Management andEducation Quality Assessment (Hanoi Department of Education and Training) reminded candidates to remember the examination schedule and important notes to keep in mind before the examination time, to avoid unfortunate mistakes. In particular, candidates need to prepare necessary documents and items in their bags; remember the examination scores; check the way to the examination site, and calculate the time so as not to be late and not be allowed to enter the examination site.

Candidates should note the exam schedule and exam time to arrive at the exam location on time.

When receiving the exam paper, candidates must check the condition of the paper. If they find that the paper is blurred, smudged, torn, or damaged, they must report it to the invigilator within 5 minutes. If after 5 minutes, the candidate must take responsibility for the exam paper.
