Artistic book stacking competition in response to Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day

On April 17, in response to Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day (April 21), Tay Ho district organized Tay Ho District Book and Reading Culture Day 2024.
The first prize winning book stacking art work of Xuan La and Tu Lien Secondary Schools. Book and Reading Culture Day in Tay Ho District aims to continue affirming the role and importance of books in improving knowledge,education and training human personality; encouraging the reading movement to become a habit, a cultural beauty in all classes of people in Tay Ho District. In his opening speech, Director of the Center for Culture, Information and Sports of Tay Ho District Hoang Xuan Sang said: With the message in 2024 "Good books need readers"; "Precious books for friends"; "Giving good books - buying real books"; "Good books: Eyes to read - ears to listen", Tay Ho District People's Committee has directed the implementation of many activities from the district to the grassroots, to reading rooms in residential areas, such as: Organizing propaganda about Book and Reading Culture Day in Tay Ho District; organizing book donations to support, donate to disadvantaged schools, remote areas or build grassroots reading rooms; displaying and introducing books at ward libraries; wards and schools launching book donation movements; Organize reading club activities, games related to learning about books and reading culture; display new books... Dong Thai Secondary School decorates and arranges art books. Through the festival, people and especially students still in school have the right awareness of reading to enrich their knowledge, apply creativity to life, thereby developing themselves and contributing to society. During the Book and Reading Culture Day of Tay Ho district this year, many meaningful activities took place: Art book stacking contest; Children's painting contest "My hometown Tay Ho"; Video introducing the development of reading culture in schools; donating 2,200 books; honoring typical reading examples in the area... Children present their drawings at the book festival. On this occasion, the District Center for Culture, Information and Sports coordinated with the Atlantic English Center to organize the Golden Bell English game, learning about books and reading culture for primary, secondary and high school students in the district.
