Math Genius
Kairan Quazi was born in 2009 in Pleasanton, California, USA, and is known as a math genius. He is in the top 0.1% of people with the highest IQ in the world .
Kairan Quazi’s mother, Jullia Quazi, said her son loved and focused on reading stories. “When Kairan Quazi was just a few months old, if I stopped reading, he would cry and only calm down when I continued,” his mother shared.
By the age of 2, the boy could speak fluently. "Doctors realized that my son's intelligence was far superior to that of his peers," added Mrs. Jullia Quazi.
By kindergarten, Kairan Quazi could tell his friends and teachers about the news he heard on the radio. In elementary school, he said the curriculum was easy for him.

At the age of 9, he completed high school and was accepted into Las Positas College in California. "That was when I felt like I was at my right level," Kairan Quazi told the Los Angeles Times.
Two years later, Kairan Quazi received his associate degree in mathematics. He was accepted to Santa Clara University, majoring in computer science and engineering. A few months later, Kairan Quazi passed the internship program at Intel Labs, where he worked as an artificial intelligence researcher and developer.
In 2022, Kairan Quazi also spent 4 months interning at the cybersecurity intelligence company Blackbird.AI. Here, he contributed to designing a system to detect unusual content posted on social networks.
On June 17, Kairan Quazi graduated from Santa Clara University - the oldest university in California, USA. He became the youngest student to receive a diploma in the school's 172-year history.
Becoming a Software Engineer at 14
After graduating from university, Kairan Quazi officially became an employee of billionaire Elon Musk's aerospace company SpaceX. He is also the youngest member of the company.
"I'm joining SpaceX as a software engineer," Kairan Quazi said, adding that he's a software engineer at Starlink, SpaceX's satellite internet project.

As a software engineer at SpaceX, Kairan Quazi's salary ranges from 140,000 - 216,000 USD/year (3.2 - 5.0 billion VND).
The boy went through 10 rounds of interviews with SpaceX executives. Before that, Kairan Quazi applied to 98 different positions, of which only 3 of them made him a job offer.
In the end, the boy chose billionaire Elon Musk's company. "This is a rare company that does not underestimate my ability and maturity based on my age," said Kairan Quazi.
Kairan Quazi plans to move with his family from Pleasanton, California to Redmond, Washington to start working at SpaceX.
After receiving the news that Kairan Quazi had joined SpaceX, City Councilor Raj Chahal said: "I commend organizations like SpaceX and Intel Labs for making the bold decision to give Kairan Quazi the opportunity to challenge himself."
Many people think that Kairan Quazi is losing his childhood. But the boy doesn't think so, joining SpaceX is both a dream and a challenge for Kairan Quazi in the coming time.
