In the latest episode of the show "My Little Old Boy", aired on February 18 on SBS, actor Lee Yi Kyung appeared as a special MC.
Accordingly, Lee Yi Kyung shared about the audience's reaction after his role as a bad husband in the movie "You Go Marry My Husband".
"I went to Namdaemun Market while filming a variety show and 90% of the responses I got there were as expected. I ran into my neighbor who called me a 'bastard' as soon as I opened the door. I personally think that's the best compliment for an actor. Right now, I'm really grateful and feel happy even though I'm playing a bad husband," Lee Yi Kyung said.
As a guest on "My Little Old Boy", actor Kim Jong Kook's mother also reminded Lee Yi Kyung: "You have to keep talking about your good deeds, otherwise people will think you are a bad person after watching the movie."
Besides information surrounding the movie "You go and marry my husband", the program participants also explored the male lead's personal life.
According to records, during the COVID-19 outbreak, many people faced difficulties with work and finances. Therefore, "LG's young master" Lee Yi Kyung created an opportunity for a military classmate - to open a chicken restaurant and hand over the business and management rights to them.
When asked if the restaurant was doing well, Lee Yi Kyung frankly admitted: "It went bankrupt. I spent 100 million won but only had 15 million won left. My friend said he would repay me for the rest of his life, so we are still good friends."
Previously, many colleagues and friends also praised Lee Yi Kyung for his warmth, friendliness and frequent help to those around him.
