"Mathematics Olympiad announcement" is fake

In the past few days, a document appeared on social networks with the content of the announcement of the Ministry of Education and Training about the organization of the 2024 Mathematical Olympiad with many spelling mistakes.

Fake notification

The Ministry of Education and Training confirmed that this is a fake document. The unit has notified the police to verify, clarify and handle according to regulations.

According to the content of the forged document, the Ministry of Education and Training will organize the 2024 Mathematical Olympiad. Participants are children from 4 to 18 years old. Candidates can register online from July 20.

Regarding the rights of candidates participating in the exam, the fake document stated: candidates will be introduced to and develop new thinking, and equipped with global digital citizenship skills.

Not only that, the best candidates will be given special admission to universities without entrance exams and receive scholarships from the Government . The document also includes a hotline number to support candidates.

The Ministry of Education and Training said that it currently only provides official information online through 3 channels: the Ministry of Education and Training's Electronic Information Portal; the Ministry of Education and Training's Electronic Information page on Facebook and the Ministry of Education and Training's Electronic Information page on Youtube.

When registering for any exam, candidates and parents need to carefully research sources and information to avoid falling into the traps of bad guys.
