Press Release No. 6, 8th Session, 15th National Assembly

On Saturday, October 26, 2024, the National Assembly continued the sixth working day of the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly at the National Assembly House, Hanoi .

The National Assembly spent the whole working day discussing in groups the following contents:

(i) Evaluate the implementation results of the 2024 socio -economic development plan; forecast the 2025 socio -economic development plan.

(ii) Implementation of the Constitution; implementation of laws, resolutions of the National Assembly, ordinances and resolutions of the National Assembly Standing Committee.

(iii) The implementation of the state budget in 2024, the state budget estimate, the central budget allocation plan in 2025 (including the 3-year state budget - financial plan 2025-2027; the implementation of the state budget public investment plan in 2024, the expected state budget public investment plan in 2025; the implementation of the 2024 financial plan, the expected 2025 financial plan of the extra-budgetary state financial funds managed by the central government); some contents on adjusting and supplementing the state budget estimate.

(iv) Adjustment policy National land use planning period 2021-2030, vision to 2050.

(v) Policy on additional state capital investment at Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (VCB).

(vi) Draft Law on Electricity (amended).

Monday, October 28, 2024:

(i) Morning, The National Assembly held a plenary session in the hall, listening to the Report of the National Assembly's Supervisory Delegation on "implementation of policies and laws on real estate market management and social housing development from 2015 to the end of 2023"; then, the National Assembly discussed the Report of the Supervisory Delegation and the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on the results of the above-mentioned thematic supervision;

(ii) Afternoon, The National Assembly continued to discuss in the hall the Report of the Supervisory Delegation and the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on the results of the thematic supervision of "the implementation of policies and laws on real estate market management and social housing development from 2015 to the end of 2023"; listened to the Presentation and the Report on the examination of the draft Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Officers of the Vietnam People's Army; then, the National Assembly discussed in groups the draft Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Officers of the Vietnam People's Army.
