After his visit to Vietnam from November 26 to December 1, Prime Minister of the German state of Hesse, Boris Rhein, gave positive assessments, emphasizing the close and cooperative relationship between the state of Hesse and Vietnam.
Sharing this positive view, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hessen, accompanying the State President to Vietnam, emphasized that Hessen has had a very close relationship with Vietnam for many decades and this is now bringing benefits on many levels. The highlight of Mr. Boris Rhein's visit to Vietnam this time was attending the graduation ceremony at the Vietnamese-German University (VGU) in Ho Chi Minh City. In his speech, President Boris Rhein said: “VGU is the 5th largest bilingual university in the world with German participation. The Vietnamese-German University makes an important contribution to the development of science and technology in Vietnam. Through VGU, we are strengthening the relationship between the two countries. I am proud that together with this key project, we are further strengthening the already close cooperation. The Hessen State Government once again agrees to further promote and strengthen VGU”.
