Attracting strong investment, Nghe An expects to transform in the coming time

Nghe An is a key locality in the economic development orientation of the North Central region, located in the strategy to promote investment cooperation with Laos and northeastern Thailand. 3 years ago, the Goertek Electronic Products Manufacturing Factory Project was started with a capital of 100 million USD... recently, the project has continued to be upgraded with an investment capital of up to 500 million USD... becoming one of the FDI projects in Nghe An, creating jobs for 30,000 - 40,000 workers. Nghe An province's leaders said that breakthroughs in reforming investment procedures such as publicizing all project information on the electronic information portal, aiming to grant investment licenses within the day and returning to one focal point are being applied by Nghe An province. Some other policies to attract investment are support for income tax, import tax, land tax, land use as well as site clearance, human resource training, advertising on media under the province's management. In addition, Nghe An province also has other strengths such as Vinh international airport with many diverse routes, a specialized petroleum port with a scale of 60,000 tons. Being a locality located next to two provinces with billion-dollar FDI projects, Thanh Hoa with the Nghi Son petrochemical complex and Ha Tinh with the Formosa iron and steel plant - is a good opportunity for Nghe An to develop supporting industrial projects, logistics infrastructure, in order to realize the goal set by the Government that Nghe Thanh Ha, that is, Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Ha Tinh will become the new growth pole of the whole country.
