Open letter calling for support for Khanh Hoa Fisheries Development Support Fund in 2023

On September 18, 2023, Comrade Tran Quoc Nam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee sent an open letter to the People, cadres, soldiers, organizations, agencies, businesses, and philanthropists inside and outside the province to support the Khanh Hoa Fisheries Development Support Fund in 2023.

The full text of the Open Letter is as follows:

Khanh Hoa is a coastal province in the South Central region, bordering the North of Ninh Thuan province, a province with a particularly important strategic position in terms of politics, economy, society, national defense, security, and foreign affairs of the country. Khanh Hoa has 09 district-level administrative units, including Truong Sa district located at the sacred outpost of the Fatherland, with a particularly important strategic position in protecting the country's sovereignty and sovereign rights in the East Sea region.

On April 13, 2023, the Government issued Decree No. 11/2023/ND-CP on the establishment and operating regulations of the Khanh Hoa Fisheries Development Support Fund, accordingly, the Khanh Hoa Fisheries Development Support Fund is a national fund established by the Government and assigned to the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee for direct management to mobilize additional resources to serve fisheries development, invest in items, fishing port infrastructure works and other essential works for natural disaster prevention and control, and serve people's lives in Truong Sa district that have not been invested in or have not been invested enough by the state budget. The Khanh Hoa Fisheries Development Support Fund operates under the model of a public service unit under the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, operating not for profit.

In order to promote the tradition of patriotism, the strength of national solidarity, with deep affection, affection and responsibility towards the borders and islands of the Fatherland; Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee calls on the People, cadres, soldiers, organizations, agencies, enterprises, philanthropists inside and outside the province to participate in supporting and contributing funds to the Khanh Hoa Fisheries Development Support Fund to join hands with Khanh Hoa province to build and develop Truong Sa district into an economic, cultural and social center at sea, a solid fortress to protect the sacred sovereignty of the Fatherland.

The Party Committee, Government and Leaders of Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee sincerely acknowledge the kindness and noble gestures of the People, cadres, soldiers, organizations, agencies, businesses and philanthropists inside and outside the province supporting the Khanh Hoa Fisheries Development Support Fund in 2023.
