According to Decision No. 2789/QD-BVHTTDL dated August 4, 2025 on promulgating the Plan to organize the Ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Cultural Sector's Traditional Day (August 28, 1945 - August 28, 2025) and towards the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), activities are organized to review the tradition, history of formation and development of the Cultural Sector.

Looking back at the achievements, marks and outstanding results of the entire Cultural Sector over the past 80 years to gain a deeper, more complete and comprehensive understanding of the important role and position of culture in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland, as well as in realizing the aspiration to develop a prosperous and happy country in the new era - the era of national growth.

Create a broad political movement, encourage, motivate, and arouse the confidence and pride of the teams of cultural workers nationwide to unite in mind, strength, and heart to implement more drastically and creatively in carrying out political tasks to bring the cause of developing culture, information, sports and tourism to new heights, achieve even greater results, and make worthy contributions to the implementation of the goal of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam as determined by the Party, State and people.

At the meeting, Chief of Office of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Cao Le Tuan Anh reported on the progress of preparations for the 80th Anniversary of the Cultural Sector's Traditional Day.

Leaders of the Departments, Divisions, and functional units of the Ministry also reported on the implementation of assigned tasks such as emulation and reward work, mockup design, videos , information, communication, art programs, etc. At the same time, they proposed a number of recommendations to the Ministry's leaders.

Speaking at the meeting, Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Hai Binh acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the units in preparing to organize the 80th Anniversary of the Cultural Sector's Traditional Day (August 28, 1945 - August 28, 2025) and towards the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2.

Despite the tight deadline and large workload, including many difficult tasks, the units have tried to complete them with great effort, ensuring the requirements are met.

Reiterating the special significance of the Anniversary, Permanent Deputy Minister Le Hai Binh requested units to focus, make more efforts, and continue to perfect the preparation work.

Besides preparing for the Industry's events, it is also necessary to make efforts to prepare for activities within the framework of the Great Celebration of the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

The Deputy Minister also noted that units must effectively implement related tasks such as ensuring reception of guests, art programs, information, propaganda, etc. In particular, units must coordinate closely and smoothly during the implementation process; regularly report to the Ministry's leaders./.
