Prime Minister mobilizes and appoints many leaders of the Ministry of National Defense

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just signed decisions on personnel transfers and appointments at the Ministry of National Defense.

Accordingly, the Prime Minister appointed Major General Nguyen Ba Luc, Commander of the 34th Corps of the Ministry of National Defense , to hold the position of Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army.

Mobilize and appoint Major General Nguyen An Phong, Director of the Organization Department, General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, to hold the position of Political Commissar of the Navy.

Major General Nguyen Ba Luc, Commander of the 34th Corps of the Ministry of National Defense, was appointed Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army.

Mobilize and appoint Major General Truong Manh Dung, Commander of the 12th Corps, to hold the position of Commander of Military Region 1. At the same time, appoint Major General Vo Tien Nghi, Director of the Reconnaissance Department, Border Guard, to hold the position of Deputy Commander of the Border Guard.

On this occasion, 6 colonels were mobilized and appointed by the Prime Minister . Specifically, Colonel Hoang Duy Chien, Deputy Chief of Staff of Military Region 4, was appointed to the position of Deputy Commander of Military Region 4.

Appoint Colonel Pham Hung Hung, Commander of Lao Cai Provincial Military Command, Military Region 2, to hold the position of Deputy Commander of Military Region 2.

Colonel Phan Dai Nghia, Commander of the Nghe An Provincial Military Command, Military Region 4, was transferred and appointed to the position of Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Military Region 5.

Colonel Dang Van Long, Commander of the Military Command of Tuyen Quang Province, Military Region 2, was appointed Deputy Commander of Military Region 2.

Colonel Nguyen Huy Tuan, Deputy Chief of Politics of the Air Defense - Air Force, was appointed Deputy Political Commissar of the Air Defense - Air Force.

Colonel Pham Minh Tuan, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Navy, holds the position of Deputy Commander of the Navy.

The term of appointment is 5 years, the above decisions take effect from today, April 24.
