On June 3, right after landing at Noi Bai Airport ( Hanoi ), Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese visited RMIT University. Afterwards, Mr. Albanese and his colleagues went to a beer house on Duong Thanh Street (Hoan Kiem District) to enjoy draft beer and bread.
Praising Vietnamese cuisine for its diverse and unique dishes, the Australian Prime Minister tried boiled peanuts, fish cakes, grilled pork belly and green bean curd. Each dish brought him a surprising experience.

Chef Sam Tran, co-founder of Gia Restaurant, spent nearly 10 years studying in Australia and introduced Vietnamese cuisine to Prime Minister Albanese.
Mr. Nguyen Hanh (sitting on the right of Prime Minister Anthony Albanese) said that the Australian Prime Minister shared that among the dishes today, he liked the fish cake the most. He was very happy with the affection and hospitality of the Vietnamese people.
Mr. Hanh said that at first many people thought the Australian Prime Minister would be tired after the flight, but no, he was very friendly, happy and drank more than 3 glasses of beer.
