Interesting Q&A experience at Nhan Dan Newspaper exhibition booth

Towards the 100th anniversary of Vietnam's Revolutionary Press (1925-2025), Nhan Dan Newspaper organized a question-and-answer experience on press history at the exhibition booth within the framework of the 2025 National Press Festival.

Participants will answer questions related to historical journalism milestones, typical newspapers and achievements of Nhan Dan Newspaper.

If the answer is correct, the player will receive a gift of a set of supplements commemorating major events such as the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory, the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital, the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the reunification of the country, and the 130th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday.

In just one afternoon, the exhibition booth welcomed hundreds of visitors and visitors, mostly students from many universities in Hanoi . The atmosphere of excitement spread through each response, creating a space for exchange that was both intellectual and emotional.

Phuong Mai, a fourth-year student at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University, Hanoi, said she especially loves publications of Nhan Dan Newspaper but has never had the opportunity to own the entire set of quarterly supplements. When she learned about the Q&A activity at the Press Fair, she immediately registered to participate.

With her accumulated knowledge of journalism, Mai easily answered correctly and received a gift from the Organizing Committee. “I feel very happy and touched. I hope to work in the journalism industry in the future, contributing a small part to the country's journalism,” Mai shared.

Tran Thi Ngoc Diep, a student at the Academy of Journalism and Communication, made everyone admire her when she quickly answered correctly the question about the first electronic magazine in Vietnam – Que Huong newspaper – without even needing the suggested answer.

Ngoc Diep shared: "This is the knowledge I learned in the electronic journalism course, so I was very excited to see it appear in the game."

Not only journalism students, many young people from other majors also participated and expressed interest in the activity.

Ngo Thi Hong Yen and Trinh Thi Diu, third-year students at the University of Economics and Technology (Faculty of Tourism), said they were interning at a media company so they came to the Press Conference to make a video report.

Participating in the Q&A not only brought joy but also helped the two of them learn more about the history of journalism. Yen highly appreciated the prize, which was a press publication containing many valuable images and documents: “We can use them as reference materials for future work.”

Attending the event and receiving the award, Nguyen Thi Theu - a student from the University of Commerce shared: "I often read news on Nhan Dan e-newspaper. Today, coming to the National Press Festival, I feel like I am closer to the articles I have read."

In addition to students, the activity also attracted the attention of many officials and loyal readers.

Mr. Chi Dung (Vietnam Business Law Association), who regularly follows Nhan Dan Newspaper, commented: “The gift publications are elaborately designed, of high quality, demonstrating the dedication of the journalism team”. He said he was very impressed with the youthful, creative atmosphere at the exhibition booth.

From the Political Officer School, student Truong Quang Luc was also present at the Press Conference according to the school's program. Luc shared that Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, June 21, has great significance for those working in the journalism profession.

“I was most impressed by the Nhan Dan Newspaper booth – from the main color to the activities, everything was very outstanding. This is where my friends and I chose to stay the longest,” Quang Luc said.

Through Q&A activities, Nhan Dan Newspaper not only promotes new publications and special pages but also inspires and contributes to raising young people's awareness of the history, role and responsibility of revolutionary journalism.

At the exhibition booth of Nhan Dan Newspaper, at 9:00 a.m. tomorrow (June 20), the unit will organize an activity to introduce the book "Uncle Ho's articles on culture and journalism in Nhan Dan Newspaper".

At 2:30 p.m. on June 20, the unit organized the activity of introducing the special issue and the publication "Trend Imprint" to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press.
