Promoting industrial development in Hanoi City worthy of the role and position of the Capital

Baoquocte.vn. Taking place from October 19-21, the Hanoi Key Industrial Products Fair 2023 is a large-scale annual fair of key industrial products of Hanoi City.

The fair attracted over 200 booths of key industrial enterprises in Hanoi, large, potential enterprises, FDI in Hanoi, provinces and cities across the country and foreign enterprises... participating in displaying and introducing at the fair industrial products with high added value, using modern technology, not causing environmental pollution, with export strengths to replace imported goods in the following industries and fields: Electricity, electronics, automobile assembly, mechanical engineering, textiles, footwear, high technology, processing industry...

Through the Fair, businesses have more opportunities to promote trade promotion activities, seek partners, sign trade agreements to develop domestic and export markets; access, share experiences, transfer innovations in machinery, equipment, technology, automation in production and business, aiming at the goal of modernizing production, increasing labor productivity, standards, quality and accuracy of products, saving raw materials, fuel, improving competitiveness; connecting with businesses in the supply chain, meeting the needs of customers who are large manufacturers, producing finished products; enhancing the ability of businesses to integrate into the international economy .

According to Acting Director of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade Tran Thi Phuong Lan, the program to develop key industrial products has received special attention from the Hanoi Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee, and has received strong instructions to promote the development of Hanoi's industry to match its role and position.

The Hanoi People's Committee has issued a Plan to implement the project to develop key industrial products for the 2021-2025 period in Hanoi.

Up to now, Hanoi has 196 products of 132 enterprises which are the city's key industrial products in the fields of mechanics, manufacturing, electricity, electronics, information technology, textiles, footwear, agricultural and food processing, chemical industry, rubber, plastics, pharmaceuticals, construction materials, and handicrafts.

Ms. Tran Thi Phuong Lan, enterprises whose products are recognized by Hanoi as key industrial products are mostly large-scale units, highly competitive in the market, capable of international economic integration, participating in the global production and supply chain.

To achieve this success, businesses have been proactive, creative, and bold in innovating technology and equipment, applying quality management systems according to international standards, thereby increasing labor productivity and sustainably developing the capital's industrial production sector.

During the Fair, many seminars and conferences were held: Solutions for applying digital transformation, building smart factories, promoting investment to improve the capacity of key enterprises; Conference connecting enterprises producing key industrial products and industrial enterprises with investors of industrial clusters in 2023; Association of enterprises producing key industrial products of Hanoi city - HAMI.

At the same time, businesses organized activities: Workshop on World economic fluctuations and opportunities for the manufacturing industry from the perspective of Japanese - Vietnamese businesses; Workshop on Logistics human resources and supply chain management for key industries; Workshop on Proactive business in volatile situations - How to approach Japanese buyers; Experience EVGO electric motorbikes - Choose green living, choose EVGO...

Through the Workshop, opinions of experts, researchers and businesses will suggest measures and policies to promote the development of priority industries, key industries and high-tech industries in Hanoi and the whole country.
