The highest Tet bonus is 150 million VND, the lowest is 100,000 VND.

(NLDO) - The highest Lunar New Year bonus for employees in Hai Duong in 2025 is 150 million VND/person at a foreign-invested enterprise.

On November 25, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Hai Duong informed that salaries and bonuses of employees in 2024 mostly tend to increase compared to 2023.

Accordingly, the salary of employees in FDI enterprises recorded an increase of 11.6% over the same period in 2023, while that of private enterprises increased by up to 25%.

As of December 25, the average 2025 Lunar New Year bonus in the private enterprise sector is 6.6 million VND/person, an increase of 25% compared to 2024.

According to the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Hai Duong, the highest bonus for Lunar New Year 2025 for local workers is VND150 million/person at a foreign-invested enterprise (FDI) in Nam Sach Industrial Park, 21.9% higher than the highest bonus in 2024. The lowest bonus is VND100,000/person at FDI enterprises and private enterprises. However, the average bonus decreased slightly by 2% compared to last year, reaching VND6.05 million/person. Meanwhile, the lowest bonus remains at VND100,000/person.

According to records, for the Lunar New Year 2025, the private enterprise sector has a leap in Tet bonus levels when it increases by 25%, in which the highest bonus level is recorded at 77.6 million VND/person, and the lowest is only 100,000 VND/person. Meanwhile, the State-owned enterprise sector holding 100% of charter capital recorded an average bonus level of 2.6 million VND/person, equal to 50% compared to 2024. Specifically, the lowest bonus level is 1 million VND/person, the highest is 16.6 million VND/person, much lower than the average Tet bonus level in other types of enterprises.

One of the main reasons for the increase in salaries and bonuses this year is the positive signs of economic recovery and the adjustment of regional and local minimum wages applied from July 2024.

Hai Duong province has adjusted the regional minimum wage and at the same time required businesses to increase the average salary for their workers accordingly.

Previously, the highest Lunar New Year bonus in 2024 was 123 million VND, belonging to an enterprise in Tan Truong Industrial Park (Cam Giang District). The average Lunar New Year bonus of FDI enterprises is 6.15 million VND/person.
