On the afternoon of August 20, in Hanoi, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu - Head of the Central Steering Committee for the celebration of major holidays and important historical events of the country in the 3 years 2023-2025 led the delegation to inspect the preparations for the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum area, Ba Dinh Square.

After directly inspecting the logistics preparation, vehicles, seats, and equipment installation in the Ceremony Stage area at the headquarters of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Command (No. 8 Hung Vuong Street), listening to reports from ministries, branches, and the Hanoi People's Committee, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu assessed that, closely following the overall project and plan for organizing the celebration, parade, march, etc., the implementation results by the afternoon of August 20 basically ensured quality and progress.

The Standing Secretariat noted that the plan to welcome and arrange delegates to sit in the stands in Ba Dinh Square must be given special attention. The general spirit is to prioritize guest delegates who have contributed to the revolution, to the country, and the elderly, policy beneficiaries... This is also an opportunity to show the respect and gratitude of the Party and State to those who have contributed to the country. Therefore, the units assigned to make the list of guest delegates must ensure the correct principles of composition, structure... This content must be very detailed and specific, especially preparing logistics, medical care, supporting Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, war invalids...

After listening to the reports from the leaders of the Party Central Committee Office, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, representatives of the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Hanoi People's Committee, etc. on the implementation of assigned tasks, comrade Tran Cam Tu clearly stated the specific tasks regarding the arrangement of the number and composition of delegates, delegations from 34 provinces and cities, international guests, etc. at the Central Ceremony Stage and the stands in the Ba Dinh Square area.

The Standing Secretariat especially noted that the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Public Security, the Hanoi People's Committee... implement a detailed plan on coordination of reception and accommodation arrangements for delegates from provinces and cities to Hanoi, especially delegates who are veteran revolutionaries, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, war invalids, Armed Forces Heroes, Labor Heroes, people with meritorious services to the revolution... The Ministry of Foreign Affairs implements a detailed plan on welcoming international guests to attend.

There are more than 10 days left until the 80th National Day Celebration on September 2, the Standing Secretariat stated that, based on complete and detailed plans, relevant agencies will continue to uphold their sense of responsibility in performing assigned tasks.

On the morning of September 2, the ceremony, parade, and march to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 (A80) will solemnly take place at Ba Dinh Square, starting at 6:30 a.m. After passing the ceremony platform, the parade and marching forces will spread out along 7 routes, moving through many key streets in the center of Hanoi. Accordingly, it is expected that there will be a large number of people and tourists on many routes leading to Ba Dinh Square. At the meeting, representatives of relevant agencies also emphasized the requirement that on National Day September 2, the delegations must leave very early to avoid traffic jams; emphasizing the requirement to prepare essential hygiene and medical conditions on the streets, Ba Dinh Square area...

On August 20, the steel grandstand area with a capacity of 30,000 seats for the A80 Grand Anniversary Ceremony was being rushed to completion at Ba Dinh Square; in which the seating blocks and grandstands have been basically completed. Construction units are in the process of reinforcing and enhancing key points to ensure safety.

Emphasizing the high requirements in preparation, thoroughness, detail in each part of the work and good coordination in implementation, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu especially reminded relevant agencies to continue to uphold the sense of responsibility, conduct regular inspections, and ensure absolute security and safety in the Ba Dinh Square area, including the grandstand area.

Acknowledging the plan to welcome delegations of the Hanoi People's Committee, the Standing Secretary of the Secretariat stated that the 80th anniversary of National Day is an occasion when people from all over the country and tourists gather in large numbers in Hanoi. Hanoi City will carry out plans well, prepare adequate facilities and services to ensure a thoughtful reception, showing hospitality and respect.
