Received 72 Vietnamese citizens from Cambodia

At noon on August 12, at Tinh Bien International Border Gate (An Giang province), Tinh Bien International Border Gate Border Guard Station (An Giang Provincial Border Guard Command) coordinated with functional forces to receive 72 Vietnamese citizens returned by Cambodia.

Accordingly, 72 Vietnamese citizens with permanent residence in many places across the country, exited Cambodia at many times, at many different border gates. Through investigation, they went to Cambodia to work, and were deported by the General Department of Immigration - Ministry of Interior of Cambodia for violating regulations on entry, exit, labor, and residence of Cambodia.

During the repatriation procedure, the authorities discovered and arrested Tran Chi An, who was wanted for intentionally causing injury; and Dang Hoang Minh, who was wanted for appropriating property; and handed over the two subjects to the police for handling according to the law.

Immediately after receiving the citizens, the Tinh Bien International Border Guard Station coordinated with the functional forces to conduct medical declarations and initial legal and administrative procedures. After completing the procedures, the unit handed over the citizens to the An Giang Provincial Police for further verification and clarification.
