(GLO)- Today (September 5), domestic gold prices continued to increase by 500,000 VND per tael, continuing to set a new historical peak with a transaction price of 134.4 million VND.

Since the beginning of the week, the gold market has witnessed consecutive increases, bringing gold prices to new peaks.

This morning, businesses such as Bao Tin Minh Chau, DOJI , SJC, PNJ simultaneously listed an increase in both buying and selling prices by 500,000 VND/tael; currently trading at 132.9-134.4 million VND/tael. Mi Hong is listing the buying price at a high level of 133.4 million VND/tael; while Phu Quy is buying at 131.9 million VND/tael.

The gold ring market is also approaching the 130 million VND/tael mark, depending on the business. Bao Tin Minh Chau is listing it at 126.8-129.8 million VND; Mi Hong is buying at 127.7 million VND, selling at 129.2 million VND/tael; Phu Quy is trading at 126.5-129.5 million VND/tael. PNJ is buying at 126.8 million VND, selling at 129.8 million VND/tael. SJC is also buying at 126.7 and selling at 129.3 million VND/tael.

On the other hand, the world gold price today decreased slightly. According to Kitco, the world gold price recorded at 4:00 a.m. on September 5, Vietnam time, was at 3,541.43 USD/ounce, down 21.69 USD/ounce compared to yesterday. Converted according to the USD exchange rate at Vietcombank (26,510 VND/USD), the world gold price is about 113.17 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees). Thus, the price of gold bars is 20.73 million VND/tael higher than the international gold price.
