Continue to foster strong neighborly solidarity and friendship

(GLO)- In order to consolidate and strengthen the relationship of "good neighbors, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation, long-term sustainability", and at the same time promote connection activities with the three northeastern provinces of Cambodia, on August 28, a high-ranking delegation of the province led by Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Council Ho Van Nien visited and paid courtesy visits to the leaders of Stung Treng and Preah Vihear provinces and the Command of Military Region I (Royal Cambodian Army).

At the places he visited, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ho Van Nien, on behalf of the Party Committee, government and people of Gia Lai province, congratulated Cambodia on successfully organizing the 7th National Assembly election and establishing a new Government led by Prime Minister Hun Manet. The election results met the aspirations and expectations of the Cambodian people for a new government to continue leading the country to stronger development.

In a warm and friendly atmosphere, on behalf of the Party Committee, the government and the people of all ethnic groups in Gia Lai province, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ho Van Nien respectfully thanked the Party Committee, the government, the functional forces and the people of Stung Treng and Preah Vihear provinces and the Military Region I Command for always creating the best conditions and helping Team K52 (Gia Lai Provincial Military Command) in searching for and gathering the remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who sacrificed their lives during the war in Cambodia to repatriate them to rest in the bosom of Mother Vietnam.

Along with that, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ho Van Nien hopes that: In the coming time, the authorities of Stung Treng and Preah Vihear provinces and the Military Region I Command will continue to consolidate and promote the close, close relationship, and develop together with Gia Lai province; join hands and unite to build a close, strong Vietnam-Cambodia relationship according to the motto "Good neighbors, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation, long-term sustainability", and coordinate to build and firmly protect the border of the two countries.

Expressing his gratitude for the good sentiments of the delegation of senior officials of Gia Lai province, Governor of Preah Vihear Kim Ri Thy affirmed: Although the two provinces do not share a border, the solidarity and friendship between Preah Vihear and Gia Lai has not changed and continues to be preserved and nurtured over time. In particular, currently, the cooperation programs between the two localities are being implemented very effectively and well. In particular, Gia Lai has supported Preah Vihear province to build many works of historical and modern significance as well as many other social activities.

Governor Kim Ri Thy did not forget to thank the Vietnamese people who in the past did not hesitate to sacrifice their blood and bones to help Cambodia overthrow the Pol Pot genocidal regime. As the head of Preah Vihear province, Governor Kim Ri Thy affirmed that he will continue to inherit the tradition of the previous generation, constantly foster and build the friendship and solidarity between the two localities to become increasingly strong and developed; at the same time, promote comprehensive investment cooperation in many fields with Gia Lai province; actively support Team K52 in searching, excavating and collecting the remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who died during the war in Cambodia.

Meanwhile, Governor Stung Treng So Vai Som Yeng also hopes that the solidarity and friendship between Cambodia and Vietnam will be increasingly tightened and connected, while continuing to strongly promote cooperation and investment programs in many fields, creating momentum to accelerate the socio -economic development process. On the other hand, Governor Stung Treng affirmed that he will continue to direct the support of Gia Lai province in searching for and collecting the remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who died during the war in Cambodia.

Governor Stung Treng also said that the new Cambodian government is determined to reform the country but will continue to follow in the footsteps of previous generations to promote the close solidarity between Vietnam and Cambodia in general, and between Stung Treng and Gia Lai in particular, to become more and more sustainable.

At the reception for the delegation of high-ranking officials of Gia Lai province, General Hout Chheang - Deputy Commander of the Army, Commander of Military Region I (Royal Cambodian Army) thanked the Party Committee and People of Gia Lai province for their congratulations on the election results of the 7th National Assembly of Cambodia and the establishment of a new government to lead the people to maintain and promote the country's development policy.

Along with that, the Commander of Military Region I affirmed: Military Region I Command and Gia Lai province continue to promote the close and affectionate relationship over many years and increasingly preserve, cultivate and develop it to new heights.

On the path of integration and development, the Cambodian army and people in general, and the Military Region I Command in particular, always cherish and express gratitude to the Vietnamese people for helping Cambodia overthrow the Pol Pot genocidal regime in the past. This sincere and righteous help is forever the red thread to further tighten the solidarity and friendship, constantly fostering and building the Vietnam-Cambodia relationship in general, Gia Lai province and the Military Region I Command in particular, to become increasingly strong and developed.

On this occasion, the leaders of Gia Lai province and Stung Treng, Preah Vihear provinces and the Military Region I Command presented each other many meaningful gifts to express their precious feelings; at the same time, they affirmed their promise to continuously foster and build a strong, close relationship that will increasingly develop strongly between localities and units in the new period.
