Civil defense drill content subcommittee meets to assign and deploy tasks

On the morning of April 21, the Content Subcommittee and the Provincial Civil Defense Exercise Organizing Committee held a meeting to assign tasks and deploy the contents to prepare for the 2025 provincial civil defense exercise. The exercise has the theme: " Vinh Phuc province coordinates with Military Region 2 and local forces to organize civil defense, respond to dike incidents and search and rescue". This is the first exercise organized after the Law on Civil Defense took effect on a large scale, with new content and high requirements, serving as a model for Military Region 2, so the preparation work requires careful study of documents, field surveys, and a combination of theory and practice to ensure the content is close to reality and the exercise is organized safely.

The drill aims to improve the level and capacity of leadership and direction of Party committees; management and operation of the government in civil defense, natural disaster prevention and search and rescue. Propaganda andeducation to raise awareness and responsibility of all levels, sectors and people; proactively prevent, avoid, prepare well and be ready to respond to all types of natural disasters, catastrophes and incidents of dikes and dams in the area.

At the conference, delegates discussed and contributed ideas to the draft assignment of tasks to the Subcommittee members; Plan to organize the provincial civil defense drill in 2025.

Based on the comments of the delegates, the Content Subcommittee's support team will finalize the exercise documents before April 28; coordinate with other departments to consolidate and prepare the training grounds and training grounds. It is expected that from May 4 to 20, agencies, units and localities will organize training, practice segments, joint practice and record and create videos of each exercise content and situation. The province will complete all preparation work for the exercise before May 28 and organize the exercise on June 6.

Given the importance of the exercise and its unified content, relevant agencies, units and localities actively and urgently completed preparations to ensure the exercise was safe and achieved its goals and requirements.

On the same afternoon, the Director Team of Military Region 2 and the Content Subcommittee went on a field survey to organize a drill at Ban Long Dam, Minh Quang Commune, Tam Dao District.
