According to Engadget , this information was shared by a Twitter user named Matt Navarra . Called AI Avatars, the tool allows users to upload 3 to 10 photos of themselves, then choose from 5 different artistic styles on TikTok.
The image is said to be created from the AI Avatars feature that TikTok is about to deploy.
Specifically, AI Avatars will generate up to 30 separate avatars in a few minutes, after which users can download the changed images. These images can be used directly on their personal accounts.
As noted , this tool can create automatic avatar photos very similar to the Lensa application developed by Prisma Labs.
However, there are also opinions that users uploading personal photos to TikTok and allowing AI to edit the images can create risks to the privacy of personal images, even though the purpose of creating these images is only for entertainment.
