Found 1 missing victim

BTO-On the morning of October 27, one of the two victims who went missing on (October 26) was found by a boat fishing for frogs when the victim was almost exhausted. After that, the rescue and search and rescue team brought Nguyen Ngoc Kim Thi (born in 2005 in Lam Dong ) to shore alive. Currently, the victim's health is stable, thanks to the female tourist wearing a life jacket while SUP rowing.

As reported by Binh Thuan Online Newspaper, on October 26, 2024 , a group of 6 tourists went to Phu Quy Island for sightseeing and two victims went missing, Can Hoang Minh ( born in 2005 ) and Nguyen Ngoc Kim Thi (born in 2005), both residing in Lam Dong province . Currently, the rescue and search and rescue forces are continuing to search for the remaining victim.

That same night, local search and rescue forces mobilized 20 officers and soldiers to coordinate with local authorities of Long Hai commune and district police to search for the missing tourists.
