Fisherman's body found in fishing boat sinking in Hai Phong waters

On the afternoon of August 6, the body of fisherman NVX was found in Bai Ngu area, Lien Hoa commune, Quang Yen town, Quang Ninh province. Mr. X was one of three fishermen who went missing in a fishing boat sinking in the waters of Cat Hai district, Hai Phong city.

Previously, Nguoi Dua Tin reported that at around 7pm on August 3, three members of a family in Quang Yen town, Quang Ninh province, including Mr. X, his wife and son, went on a fishing boat with license plate number QN-3457 to catch seafood in the waters of Cat Hai district. At 6am on August 4, family members lost contact with the fishermen on the boat.

On August 5, a representative of the People's Committee of Cat Hai town, Cat Hai district, Hai Phong city said that local authorities had determined the location of the sunken ship at the embankment of the coastal area of Cat Hai town. Cat Hai district authorities coordinated with neighboring localities to search for the fishermen in distress.

The family has hired divers to search the area around the sea where Mr. X's body was found. Meanwhile, the Cat Hai district government is planning to tow the shipwreck closer to shore to investigate and verify the cause of the shipwreck .
