Northeast Monsoon News and Heavy Rain Forecast in North Central Coast

According to the North Central Region Hydro-meteorological Station, the strong cold air mass is currently continuing to move south.

It is forecasted that around the evening and night of November 12, this cold air mass will affect the North Central region. Northeast wind inland is strong at level 3, coastal areas at level 4-5, gusting at level 6-7.

On land: From the night of November 12, the weather in the North Central region will turn cold. During this cold air mass, the lowest temperature will be from 16 to 19 degrees Celsius, in some mountainous areas it will be below 16 degrees Celsius.

At sea: From the afternoon of November 12, in the Gulf of Tonkin and the sea area of the North Central region, the Northeast wind will be strong at level 6, then gradually increase to level 7, gusting to level 8-9, waves 2.0-4.0m high, rough seas.

From the afternoon and night of November 12-13, in Thanh Hoa and Nghe An, there will be moderate to heavy rain, and in some places very heavy rain with common rainfall of 40-80mm/period, in some places over 120mm. From the night of November 12-13, in the area from Ha Tinh, there will be heavy to very heavy rain and thunderstorms with common rainfall of 70-150mm, in some places over 200mm.

Nghe An Province: Midland and mountainous areas commonly have 30-60mm, some places over 80mm; Coastal plains commonly have 40-80mm, some places over 120mm.
