Pig price forecast for tomorrow, March 31, 2025, continues to be low

The price of live pigs on March 31, 2025 is expected to remain unchanged and may continue to be low next week. Experts believe that, given the current situation, pig prices tomorrow and early April will remain stable or decrease slightly in areas with too many pigs. In the North, prices may drop to around VND65,000/kg, while in the South they will remain above VND73,000/kg thanks to demand from industrial parks and large supermarkets.

However, the market is unlikely to increase prices because there is still a lot of pork inventory, expensive animal feed, and buyers are not willing to spend. Some food companies have started placing orders for the April 30 and May 1 holidays, but this is not enough to push prices up. Therefore, the price of live pigs on March 31, 2025 will change slowly and vary between regions.
