The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has just planned to launch a movement to join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Ho Chi Minh City in 2025. The movement aims to show care and encourage the poor and people in difficult circumstances to rise up in life.
Thereby mobilizing resources to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses with shared responsibility among the state, society and people. In which, state resources play a leading role, social resources are important.
Ho Chi Minh City aims to completely eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households by the end of 2025 and support families of meritorious people facing housing difficulties and dilapidated houses that need to be repaired or rebuilt in the city.

Accordingly, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee requested relevant agencies, units and localities to actively advise on mechanisms, policies and regulations in supporting the elimination of temporary houses, dilapidated houses, households living on canals and families of people with revolutionary contributions.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front System of Ho Chi Minh City and socio-political organizations mobilized people to actively participate in donating, supporting, and helping poor households, near-poor households, households living on canals, people affected by natural disasters, climate change, and families of people with revolutionary contributions in eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses.
Securities Commission to suspend an auditor
The State Securities Commission has sent a document to Tien Son Thanh Hoa Group Joint Stock Company regarding the company's audited financial statements for 2023.
Specifically, the document stated that according to the results of the 2024 audit service quality inspection by the Securities Commission at the Auditing and Consulting Company Limited, the audit records of the 2023 financial statements of Tien Son Thanh Hoa Group did not meet the requirements.
The reason is that the auditor has not fully performed the audit procedures and has not collected sufficient appropriate audit evidence to give an audit opinion as required by auditing standards.
Therefore, the Securities Commission will suspend the auditor from signing the audit report of the company's 2023 financial statements.

An airline changes its CEO.
In an announcement on September 17, Vietravel Airlines said it had recently appointed Mr. Dao Duc Vu as general director.
Mr. Vu has been in the "hot seat" of Vietravel Airlines since September 4, right after the board of directors approved the resignation of Mr. Nguyen Minh Hai for personal reasons.
According to Vietravel Airlines, Mr. Dao Duc Vu has more than 35 years of experience in the aviation industry, having held many senior leadership positions at agencies and enterprises such as Vietnam Airlines, Cambodia Angkor Air, Vietjet, and Bamboo Airways.
During the period from 2020 to 2022, Mr. Vu held the position of Deputy General Director and was primarily responsible for managing, supervising flight operations and training flight crews of Vietravel Airlines.
