Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Minh inspected the implementation of the investment project to build Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 (section through Thuan An City )

According to the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, the Ring Road 3 construction investment project passing through Thuan An City has a total length of 7.64 km. The recovered land with compensation is 49.56 hectares, accounting for 67.78%; the uncompensated land is 23.01 hectares, accounting for 32.22%; 177 households must be resettled.

Up to now, 1,644 cases have been compensated with the amount of 4,035 billion; 75 cases with the amount of 137.3 billion are still being paid; the handover of an area of 36.25 hectares reached 73.23% of the total 490 cases. It is expected that from November 7 to 16, 2024, the site of 13 more schools with an area of 9,703 ^m2 will be handed over.

Areas with problems in site clearance (area near Cach Mang Thang Tam Street, Thuan An City )

The An Thanh Resettlement Area Construction Project has a total area of 6.97 hectares. When completed, the project will accommodate 364 resettlement sites and include parks, kindergartens, and commercial areas.

The project has been approved for the budget and compensation plan. Support and resettlement for 61 households and individuals with the amount of 380.231 billion VND (100%). Compensation and support payments for 51 households and individuals with the amount of 348.975 billion VND, disbursement reaching 92% of the total approved amount.

At the meeting, representatives of Thuan An City raised difficulties and obstacles in implementing projects and works; at the same time, proposed to the Provincial People's Committee some support contents for cases arranged for resettlement during the time waiting for land allocation; promptly issue or adjust the land price list;...

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Vo Van Minh requested Thuan An City to urgently and resolutely accelerate site clearance to soon have land for construction. For households subject to site clearance near Cach Mang Thang Tam Street who have not yet handed over their site, the locality must resolutely carry out site clearance and compensation. Particularly for the existing "leopard skin" sections, it is necessary to focus on thoroughly handling them to arrange public investment capital.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board to closely coordinate with units and localities; urge construction units to ensure timely disbursement.

For the An Thanh resettlement area project, Thuan An City needs to focus on speeding up site clearance work to prepare for construction to start in December 2024.
