When art becomes a bridge of friendship
It is expected that from June 20 to July 2, the working delegation of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will organize the Cultural - Tourism Festival and the Program to introduce tourism, cuisine , Vietnamese craft villages, and connect businesses on the occasion of the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025 in the European market (Poland, Czech Republic and Germany).
In particular, the Art Program with the theme of Vietnamese Cultural Quintessence , commemorating the 75th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Poland and Vietnam (February 4, 1950 - February 4, 2025) is very unique and emotional.
The program includes many performances: Beautiful mountains and rivers , ensemble Niech żyje bal , solo flute, My hometown , dance Sac mau co do , solo dan bau Que huong ba mien , Szła dzieweczka , duet Con mua rung, Czerwone jagody, Dem trang san dinh , ensemble Vo ngua truong chinh , hat xam Bon mua hoa , final act Mot vong Viet Nam , Ech, Poleczko , Niech żyje bal.
The program features performances by many famous artists: People's Artist Truong Giang, Meritorious Artist Cao Huong Giang, Thu Huyen, Dinh Trang, Ngoc Ha, Bach Tra, Kieu Minh, Anh Linh, Ba Nha - Khac Huan, Ha Myo, orchestra, female dance group...
Speaking at the program's rehearsal, Deputy Minister Ho An Phong said: "Poland and Vietnam are important partners of each other, with a long history of friendship, understanding and mutual support."
“When I was young, I read beautiful poems about Poland by poet To Huu: My dear, Poland in the season of melting snow/ The birch road is white with dew and sunshine … In my mind, Poland is a beautiful, ancient and peaceful country,” said Deputy Minister Ho An Phong.
He assessed that the art program performed by the Vietnam Music, Dance and Singing Theater is the main highlight in the series of events that the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will organize in Europe. This program is very unique and emotional; harmoniously combining traditional and modern elements, between Vietnam and the international. Thereby, it shows that Vietnam is beautiful, friendly and always has the desire to develop.
Ms. Joanna Skoczek, Polish Ambassador to Vietnam, said she was honored to attend this rehearsal program and watch the excellent performance of the artists here. “In Vietnam, I have seen many art performances, but this one was very good, it touched my heart. I am even happier because next week, my compatriots in Poland will see this art program in the capital Warsaw,” Ms. Joanna Skoczek said.
Congratulations to the Vietnamese artists for their wonderful performances that made this program possible.
“The program harmoniously combines traditional and modern elements, as Deputy Minister Ho An Phong said, of both Vietnamese and Polish music and art. There are traditional Polish songs with very difficult words that not all Poles can pronounce correctly, but you sang them very well,” Ms. Joanna Skoczek shared.
She also said that the songs in the art program are very familiar to Polish people and there will certainly be many audiences who will sing along with the artists.
“I am very happy that next week I will also return to my country and will be able to see the official art program at the Polshi theater, Kazimierza Karasia 2 in Warsaw. I will also invite many of my friends to enjoy this program,” said Joanna Skoczek.
Ms. Tran Hai Van, Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism), said that the art program will be performed at a more than 100-year-old theater in the capital of Warsaw, Poland, with many important Polish guests.
“Through a series of events held in Poland, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will promote Vietnamese culture, country and people, especially cultural heritage, natural heritage, intangible cultural heritage, documentary heritage recognized by UNESCO, while promoting cultural and artistic exchanges between Vietnam and Poland in particular and European countries in general,” Ms. Tran Hai Van emphasized.
Continue to conquer the European market
Through cultural and artistic exchange activities, this series of events will create opportunities for people from European countries to explore, understand and appreciate Vietnamese culture.
The event aims to contribute to the effective implementation of Resolution No. 11/NQ-CP dated January 15, 2025 of the Government, attracting international tourists from the markets of the Republic of Poland, the Czech Republic and the Swiss Confederation to Vietnam.
Implementing Resolution No. 25/NQ-CP dated February 5, 2025 of the Government on growth targets for industries, sectors and localities, ensuring the national growth target in 2025 reaches 8% or more, completing the targets: International tourists reach 22-23 million arrivals; Domestic tourists reach 120-130 million arrivals.
In addition, the event also aims to practically contribute to the implementation of the Tourism Development Stimulus Program in 2025 according to Decision No. 444/QD-BVHTTDL dated February 28, 2025 of the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Implementing Official Dispatch No. 34/CD-TTg dated April 10, 2025 of the Prime Minister on promoting tourism development, ensuring double-digit economic growth; enhancing the competitiveness of Vietnamese tourism in the international market through preferential policies, convenient entry procedures and unique tourism experience values.
Introducing the beauty of Vietnamese culture through traditional art performances, introducing cuisine, and introducing National Tourism Year - Hue 2025.
Especially promote the introduction of OCOP products, contributing to the development of craft village tourism and rural tourism. Maintain and strengthen the image and position the Vietnamese tourism brand as safe, friendly, attractive, capable of meeting new market requirements and high-end market segments, including the European market.
The event will also be an opportunity to organize meetings, connections, negotiations, cooperation promotion, and contract signing to promote two-way tourism between Vietnam and Europe as well as restore and open new direct flights, helping to increase European visitors' access to key tourist destinations in Vietnam;
Grasp market trends and needs in the new context and the difficulties and obstacles in bringing European visitors to Vietnam.
Continue to enhance the competitiveness of Vietnamese tourism in the region: In the context that Southeast Asian and East Asian countries are stepping up promotion to attract European tourists, Vietnam needs to step up promotional activities to consolidate its position as an attractive and competitive destination in the region.
The Cultural - Tourism Festival and the Program to introduce tourism, cuisine, Vietnamese craft villages, and connect businesses on the occasion of the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025 in the European market (Poland, Czech Republic and Germany) are chaired by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, in coordination with the Department of International Cooperation; Tourism Development Support Fund and related units. This series of events has the participation of the Hue City People's Committee, tourism and aviation businesses.
