Wearing the traditional green shirts, the members and young people urgently completed the logistics work in the grandstand area. The spirit of shock, dedication and bright smiles added positive energy, contributing to the success of the important ceremony, commemoration, parade, and march of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
Among the 8,800 volunteers serving the September 2nd celebration, 800 were specially selected to work directly at Ba Dinh Square, where the official activities took place. These volunteers came from the University of Transport and Phenikaa University.
This is a task that requires discipline, responsibility and professionalism to ensure the solemnity of the event. To be here, you have gone through many rounds of selection and thorough training.

In addition to the general program, volunteers working in the stands also participate in separate training sessions with special attention to communication culture, behavior, foreign language skills and historical knowledge. This helps them to be ready to work with high intensity and pressure.
During the Grand Ceremony, volunteers determined to work nearly 20 hours continuously, eating and sleeping at the event site. The spirit of “arriving first, leaving last” was always promoted by them: arriving 30 minutes before the delegates and staying to clean the stands after the program ended, maintaining the solemnity in front of President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum.

As one of the volunteers, Nguyen Thi Phuong Anh, Phenikaa University, said that although the time participating in this event was hard, it was completely worth it, because contributing to the important day of the country is an honor that not everyone can have.
Phan The Bao, majoring in Human Resources Management, said: “I have participated in many volunteer activities at school, but this event is really different. Not only does it train our organizational and coordination skills, but it also gives us a deeper understanding of history and the value of independence and freedom.”
By 6pm this afternoon (September 1), each delegate’s gift package had been neatly arranged on the chair, carefully wrapped, showing thoughtfulness and meticulousness. This was the result of careful preparation through preliminary and final rehearsals from the previous days.
