The Department of Industry and Trade has just launched the program "National Concentrated Promotion 2023 - Vietnam Grand Sale 2023" in Dak Lak province.
The program is organized to stimulate the consumer market in the province, promote production and business activities; contribute to the recovery and socio -economic development of the province.
Accordingly, from December 4, 2023 to January 10, 2024, all traders as prescribed by law can register the maximum value limit of goods and services used for promotion and the maximum discount level for promotional goods and services is 100% (according to the provisions of Clause 4, Article 6 and Clause 2, Article 7 of Decree 81/2018/ND-CP dated May 22, 2018 of the Government ).

When participating in the program, businesses will proactively organize promotional activities with diverse and attractive content so that consumers can purchase products and services that ensure quality and reasonable prices. At the same time, prepare a source of goods that ensures quality and quantity to meet the needs of organizing and implementing the program; ensure compliance with legal regulations and protect the legitimate rights of consumers.
The national concentrated promotion program has been implemented since 2020 nationwide. The program has attracted the attention and strong response of the business community and consumers nationwide and achieved positive results.
In 2022, the program attracted nearly 70,000 promotional programs implemented by businesses, contributing to bringing the total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue nationwide in November 2022 to VND 514.2 trillion, up 2.6% compared to October 2022 and up 17.5% over the same period last year; in December 2022, it reached VND 515.8 trillion, up 3.7% over the previous month and up 17.1% over the same period last year.
