Organizing the art program "You are Ho Chi Minh" at Ba Dinh Square

This is an event organized by the Central Propaganda and Education Commission on the occasion of the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh. The program is jointly organized by Vietnam Television, Hanoi People's Committee, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command, Netmedia Joint Stock Company and related units.

“You are Ho Chi Minh” is a program in a series of cultural and artistic activities aimed at widely propagating and educating people of all walks of life to fully and deeply understand the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh to the Vietnamese revolutionary cause.

Through artistic performances and touching stories, the program vividly depicts the image of the genius leader, the great teacher of the Vietnamese revolution, the national liberation hero, and the outstanding cultural celebrity. The program also contributes to propagating and educating the tradition of patriotism, revolutionary ideals, ideology, morality, and style of Ho Chi Minh to a large number of cadres, party members, and people of all walks of life, especially the young generation. Thereby, strengthening the great national unity bloc, promoting internal strength in the cause of building, defending the Fatherland, and international integration.

Mr. Nguyen Trung Dung, General Director of NetMedia Joint Stock Company, General Director of the art program "He is Ho Chi Minh" said that throughout his life and career, President Ho Chi Minh used many different names and aliases associated with the nature and purpose of each historical situation. Each name of Uncle Ho is a legacy because it not only contains the story of a great man but also reflects the history of the nation and the profound nature of the times. Therefore, the production team of the art program "He is Ho Chi Minh" wishes to approach the audience closely the portrait of President Ho associated with the legacy of his most typical names through the segments named "Nguyen Sinh Cung - Nguyen Tat Thanh - Nguyen Ai Quoc - Ho Chi Minh" associated with personal qualities, national cultural characteristics and the quintessence of humanity that shaped his qualities, intelligence and thinking. Ho Chi Minh's legacy with its ideological foundation, moral example, and independent and autonomous thinking is the driving force for us to firmly step forward on the journey to realize the aspiration of a strong Vietnam.

The art program “You are Ho Chi Minh” consists of 3 segments. Segment 1 “Nguyen Sinh Cung - Nguyen Tat Thanh” is associated with the national values that shaped his qualities. Segment 2 “Nguyen Ai Quoc - Ho Chi Minh” focuses on the period when he absorbed the quintessence of humanity, found the way to save the country, participated in international movements, founded the Party and achieved great and brilliant achievements in the revolutionary stages of 1930-1975 and the period of Renovation - integration - development that we call the Ho Chi Minh era. Segment 3 “Vietnam! The era of rising up” affirms that his name is the gathering of the sacred soul of the country, drawing the two words Vietnam independence, freedom, and happiness on the world map. He is the most noble embodiment of the qualities, intelligence, will, and aspirations of the Vietnamese people. His life, career and legacy are the driving force for the journey to realize Vietnam's aspiration for strength and development - aspiration.

The program is organized with a unique combination of historical documents, animations and modern musical performances, promising to bring many special highlights, sacred moments of pride, emotion and strong inspiration to millions of Vietnamese people. Performing in the program are Meritorious Artist Hoang Tung, Viet Danh, Hoa Minzy, Anh Tu, Linh Chi Sao Mai, Ha Quynh Nhu, Thanh Phong, Hoang Hong Ngoc, Be Singer Group, Huyen Trang, Mai Chi, An Thu An; artists of the Drama Theater, artists of the Vietnam Music and Dance Theater.
