Organizing a comprehensive and in-depth assessment of literary and artistic activities in Hai Phong city 50 years after the country's reunification.

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - The Hai Phong City Party Committee has just issued a Plan to organize activities to summarize 50 years of Vietnamese literature and art after the country's reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

This is an opportunity to deeply and comprehensively evaluate the literary and artistic activities of Hai Phong city 50 years after the country's reunification; affirm the traditional position of Hai Phong literature and art, point out limitations, draw lessons, and propose solutions for the development of the city's literature and art in the new period.

Accordingly, from now until April 2025, the city will organize activities to respond to the creation and promotion of literary and artistic works on the theme "A common Vietnamese foundation" organized by the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations and Central Literature and Arts Associations; organize activities to promote and honor authors and typical and outstanding literary and artistic works of the city 50 years after the country's reunification; exhibit books and photos, introduce achievements of 50 years of literature and art of Hai Phong city after the country's reunification; at the same time, organize a live TV program to exchange art to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Vietnamese literature and art; produce documentary reports on literary and artistic activities of the city after the traditional day of national reunification; organize a Conference of Reporters to propagate and disseminate the content of summarizing 50 years of Vietnamese literature and art; Strengthening information and propaganda work on the topic "50 years of Vietnamese literature and art after the country's reunification"...

Through summarizing activities, raising awareness of the entire political system, cadres, party members and people of all walks of life, especially the young generation, about the position, role and important contributions of literature, art and artists to the cause of innovation and development of Hai Phong city, promoting the active role of artists on the ideological and cultural front; encouraging the expansion of scale, improving the quality of creative activities, promoting literary and artistic works of the city. At the same time, encouraging, motivating and promoting the talent and enthusiasm of artists, improving the spiritual and cultural life, and orienting the aesthetics of the city's people.
