The working delegation was led by Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs Dinh Quang Chuc. visited and presented gifts to Ms. Hoang Thi Tai in Ban Lu village, Mr. Ly Van Hao in Khuoi Deng 2 village, Mr. Trieu Kim Son in Khuoi Deng 1 village, Ms. Ban Thi Phay in Nam Dat village, Ms. Ban Thi Ghen in Na Khu village, Tan Son commune, Cho Moi district. These are all elderly people who are poor or have serious illnesses.

At the families he visited, Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs Dinh Quang Chuc kindly asked about the health and life of the elderly, wished them good health and longevity to be a spiritual support for their children and grandchildren; at the same time hoped that the families would continue to take care of the elderly wholeheartedly and thoughtfully according to the filial piety tradition of the Vietnamese people; requested that local Party committees, authorities and mass organizations have more specific and practical activities for the elderly.

Visiting and presenting 15 gifts to the elderly at the Bac Kan Province Social Protection Facility, Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs Dinh Quang Chuc suggested that in the coming time, the staff will always uphold the sense of responsibility, wholeheartedly serve and care for the elderly; maintain 100% of the elderly to receive comprehensive medical care, health check-ups and treatment of illnesses, and daily medication; care and nutrition suitable to the physical condition and illness of each group of subjects.

Luong Bang commune (Cho Don)

In Luong Bang commune, Cho Don district, the delegation visited and gave gifts to the elderly led by Deputy Director of the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs Trinh Tien Long. visited and gave gifts to Mr. Luc Vinh Toa of Na Tang village, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Ngoi of Na Muong village, Mrs. Ma Thi Dong of Ban Do village, Mrs. Chu Thi Lap of Na Chiem village, and Mr. Ly Van Thanh of Khon Hen village.

During the Action Month for the Elderly in Vietnam this year, the Provincial People's Committee presented a total of 55 gifts to the elderly, including 40 gifts in districts and cities and 15 gifts to the elderly at the Provincial Social Protection Facility, each worth 700,000 VND./.
