At the meeting, voters of Da M'rong commune listened to the delegation of the Provincial and District People's Councils summarize the results of the socio-economic situation in the first 6 months of 2024; tasks and solutions for the last months of the year; report on the results of handling voters' opinions and recommendations at the year-end session of the Provincial and District People's Councils in 2023 and the expected agenda of the regular Provincial People's Council meeting scheduled from July 9-10.
After listening to the report of the delegation of the People's Council at two levels, voters of Da M'rong commune made recommendations to the delegates of the Provincial People's Council and the District People's Council on a number of issues: all levels and sectors need to pay attention and continue to invest in the inter-commune road system and roads leading to production areas; invest in upgrading a number of irrigation works and drainage canals to ensure water sources for irrigation of crops, especially in the dry season, meeting the production development needs of the people. Some voters of Da M'rong commune requested the Provincial People's Committee to soon approve the Decision on planning 3 types of forests so that people can confidently develop production.

At the end of the meeting, Mr. Truong Huu Dong - Chairman of the District People's Committee, on behalf of the Provincial People's Council Delegation and the District People's Council, acknowledged and highly appreciated the opinions of local voters, and at the same time accepted and explained the opinions within their authority and those beyond their authority. The Provincial People's Council Delegation will make recommendations to competent authorities at the next session.
It is known that this afternoon and tomorrow (June 26), the delegations of the Provincial People's Council and District People's Council will continue to meet with voters in communes in the district.
