(LĐ online) - On the afternoon of December 5, in Tan Lam commune (Di Linh district), National Assembly deputies including: Lam Van Doan - Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Social Committee and K'Nhieu - Deputy Head of the Science Management Department, Department of Science and Technology of the province, Member of the National Assembly's Ethnic Council had a meeting with voters to report the results of the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly.

At the meeting, National Assembly delegate K'Nhieu reported to voters the results of the 8th Session. Accordingly, after 29.5 days of serious, urgent, scientific, democratic and highly responsible work, the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly completed the entire proposed program with the following results: Voting to pass 18 laws, 21 resolutions (including 4 legal resolutions); discussing and giving opinions on 10 other draft laws; conducting questions and answers; considering and deciding on socio-economic and state budget issues; reviewing reports on synthesizing voters' and people's petitions, reporting on the results of monitoring the settlement of voters' petitions, and a number of other important contents.

The National Assembly voted to pass 7 resolutions on personnel work, 10 resolutions on socio-economics, state budget, questioning activities, thematic supervision, decisions on important issues of the country and the General Resolution of the Session. One of the contents that received special attention from National Assembly deputies and voters nationwide at this Session was the consideration and decision on the investment policy for the high-speed railway on the North-South axis.

At the closing session, the National Assembly voted to pass the Resolution of the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly with a high approval rate; in which a number of important contents were agreed upon and decided by the National Assembly in the Resolution. The National Assembly Delegation of Lam Dong province also informed voters of Tan Lam commune about the socio-economic situation of the country in general and Lam Dong province in particular in 2024.

In addition, Tan Lam commune has a very large coffee area but is facing a serious lack of irrigation water in the dry season, so voters expect the local government to pay attention to investing in irrigation systems to serve irrigation water to avoid the situation of coffee crop failure in the current situation of peak coffee prices.

Along with the lack of water for irrigation during the dry season, people in the commune also have to face the lack of domestic water, causing great difficulties in life; problems related to mineral exploitation planning; clearing the road corridor to create ventilation for vehicles when participating in traffic; expanding roundabouts in the area to avoid obstructing the view, causing traffic accidents in the area; granting land use rights certificates; repairing, upgrading and expanding the road in Village 7 to ensure safety for people; need to create conditions for tractors to circulate to facilitate the transportation of agricultural products in the area; arranging funds to buy gongs to preserve national cultural identity; related to policies for people with meritorious services...
