Recently, at Tay Ninh Provincial Political School, the Emulation Cluster of Political Schools in the Southeast region held a scientific discussion conference and reviewed the emulation work in 2023.
Delegates attended the scientific discussion and review of the first 6 months of 2023 of the Emulation Cluster.
Attending the conference were Dr. Tong Duc Thao - Deputy Director of the Institute of Scientific Information, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics; MSc. Nguyen Thi Thu Cuc - Deputy Head of the Propaganda Department of Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee, representatives of the Department of Science and Technology of Tay Ninh province, together with the Board of Directors, leaders of departments, staff and lecturers of the Political Schools of Long An, Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Ninh Thuan , Binh Thuan, Tay Ninh and Ho Chi Minh City Academy of Officials.
The conference includes 2 parts: a scientific discussion with the theme "Improving the quality of staff, lecturers and scientific research activities, summarizing the practical results of meeting the requirements of building a standard Political School"; summarizing the emulation activities in the first 6 months of 2023.
The scientific discussion is an opportunity for Political Schools in the Emulation Cluster to exchange, evaluate the current situation, summarize, share experiences, identify tasks and solutions to complete the criteria for political schools to meet level 1 standards according to Regulation No. 11-QD/TW dated May 19, 2021 of the Central Party Secretariat on building standard Political Schools.
At the seminar, the reports and discussion opinions were unanimous that the construction of a standard Political School aims to standardize and improve the quality of the teaching staff; improve scientific research activities, summarize practices and other activities of the Provincial Political School. To do that, the schools have many good and effective ways of doing things and many suggestions and solutions have been exchanged and shared to learn from each other's experiences.
Regarding the implementation of tasks in the first 6 months of the year, the Southeast region's emulation cluster has achieved a number of results: implementing regulations and instructions of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics on organizing emulation movements of political schools, ministerial schools, and branches in 2023; responding to the emulation movement launched by the Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics with the theme "Proactive - Synchronous - Breakthrough - Discipline - Quality - Efficiency".
The emulation cluster has carried out 9 provincial-level topics, 49 school-level topics (basic level) in many different fields; organized 23 scientific seminars at all levels (1 national-level seminar, 7 provincial-level seminars and 15 school-level scientific seminars); 6 scientific seminars, including 1 provincial-level scientific seminar, 5 school-level scientific seminars and 40 articles published in domestic and international scientific journals with ISSN index.
In particular, the emulation cluster sent 61 cadres and lecturers for training and 114 cadres and lecturers for training and development; 100% of the members of the emulation cluster registered to participate in the 8th National Excellent Lecturer Competition of Provincial and Central City Political Schools in 2023 with a total of 18 lecturers participating.
