(CPV) - On behalf of the leaders of the Ministry of Education and Training , Minister Nguyen Kim Son sent greetings and congratulations to 21 People's Teachers, 65 excellent teachers and 251 outstanding teachers representing 1.6 million teachers present at today's ceremony. Minister Nguyen Kim Son expressed his recognition and high appreciation for the contributions of teachers to the education sector, to the cause of science and innovation of the country over the past time.
On the morning of November 17, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) and the Vietnam Education Trade Union held the 16th People's Teacher and Meritorious Teacher Award Ceremony and honored outstanding teachers and managers in 2024.

The program aims to commend, honor and show gratitude to outstanding teachers who have many creative innovations and contributions to theeducation sector at the Departments of Education and Training, Universities, Colleges, Academies, and Pedagogical Colleges in the education sector. At the same time, it promotes, creates a spread, and spreads the good examples of typical and advanced teachers who have many contributions and dedications throughout the sector; encourages the teaching staff to overcome difficulties and perform their tasks well, contributing to the successful implementation of fundamental and comprehensive innovation in education and training.
Speaking at the ceremony, Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son affirmed: Honoring the teaching profession and honoring teachers has become a beautiful cultural feature of our country.

According to the Minister, in the coming time, there will be many challenges that the education sector will have to face in order to overcome and successfully carry out major tasks. To successfully carry out major tasks of the education sector, the Minister emphasized that the entire education sector must be very determined and must meet many necessary conditions. In particular, the human factor, typically teachers and education managers, plays a particularly important role.
People's Teachers, Excellent Teachers, and Exemplary Teachers will be the core to best promote their own experience, intelligence, determination, and creativity, while sharing, spreading, inspiring positivity, and multiplying good things to the community of teachers. The titles are recognition and honor for the past, the depth of performance and contribution of teachers, and at the same time, expectations and hopes for teachers to continue to shine and contribute to the cause of educational development.

“Teachers are excellent people who need to be the core for solving new and difficult problems. Excellence does not wait to be assigned or requested, but that excellence needs to be demonstrated through a spirit of dedication, responsibility, initiative, and positivity in what has been done, is being done, and needs to be done for the education sector,” the Minister expressed.

At the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Thi Kim Chi launched a special emulation campaign to promote the patriotic emulation movement, welcoming the Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party, celebrating the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of Education and Training and the 8th Patriotic Emulation Congress of the Education sector.
Emphasizing that in the journey of building and developing the education and training career, the emulation movement has become the enthusiasm, motivation and destination of many brilliant results. The Deputy Minister hopes that every manager, teacher and staff in the whole industry will continue to make new efforts, new determination, new solutions, promoting the good values and traditions of the education sector over the past 79 years to bring Vietnamese education to continue to develop to meet the requirements and tasks assigned by the Party, State and people.

Deeply implementing President Ho Chi Minh's teachings "Emulation is patriotism, patriotism requires emulation", "Together promoting patriotic emulation, any difficulty can be overcome, any task can be completed well", the Deputy Minister shared, the Ministry of Education and Training deeply believes that every educational manager at all levels, every teacher, civil servant, employee, staff and student in the whole sector will together effectively carry out this special emulation campaign.../.
| At the ceremony, authorized by the President, the Ministry of Education and Training organized a ceremony to award the title of People's Teacher to 21 teachers from ministries, branches and localities and awarded the title of Excellent Teacher to 65 teachers under the Ministry of Education and Training. From 2017 to 2023, through 7 selections of outstanding teachers, the Minister of Education and Training signed a decision to award Certificates of Merit to 1,600 teachers. In 2024, 251 outstanding teachers representing more than 1.6 million teachers nationwide were awarded by the Minister of Education and Training. |
