The conference on guidelines for the 2025 public 10th grade exam in Hanoi took place this morning, June 3. Mr. Cuong cited that with current AI technology, candidates only need to enter the question to get the answer in seconds.
"Cheating on exams comes in many forms. Therefore, when candidates want to go to the toilet, the invigilators in the hallway must closely monitor them. If they are just a little negligent, students can access the internet and get the answers right away," said Mr. Cuong.

The Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training also requested that the test site leaders thoroughly inform students that they are not allowed to bring cell phones into the test room.
There have been cases where candidates accidentally left their phones in their shirt or pants pockets. At the end of the exam, before leaving the exam room, their parents called, resulting in the candidate being ticketed and not having their score counted for that exam.
Mr. Cuong reiterated that candidates who bring cell phones into the exam room, whether intentionally or unintentionally, will be treated the same.
A representative of the Hanoi City Police said that the city's professional departments will continue to detect, combat, and eliminate groups selling technological devices to facilitate exam cheating.
Mr. Nghiem Van Binh - Head of the Examination Management and Quality Control Department, Department of Education and Training - reminded teachers to strictly follow the regulations and principles of examination invigilation. Accordingly, teachers on duty as invigilators must not be negligent, subjective, and must not arbitrarily handle situations that occur in the examination room.
Any complaints about the exam and unusual incidents in the exam room must be reported immediately to the head of the exam site, through the supervisor.
The 2025 Hanoi public 10th grade entrance exam will take place from June 6-9, with June 6 being the day for procedures, June 7-8 for general candidates, and June 9 for specialized candidates. The total number of candidates taking the exam is 115,951.
The whole city has 4,411 examination rooms, 201 examination sites, 15,173 cadres, teachers, employees, and police participating in the organization work, and more than 2,000 cadres and teachers participating in marking the exams.
This scale is about 10 times the number of candidates and the average exam score in other provinces and cities.
