About 76,435 candidates in Ho Chi Minh City will take the 10th grade exam on June 6-7 with three subjects: literature, English, and math at 142 exam locations spread across Thu Duc City and districts.

After candidates finish each subject, Thanh Nien Newspaper will post suggested solutions to the exam questions by experienced teachers at thanhnien.vn .

The Department of Education and Training reminds candidates to be present at the examination board (exam venue)/exam room at the specified time for each exam session, follow the instructions of the examination board and the instructions of the invigilator. Candidates who arrive more than 15 minutes late after the exam time signal will not be allowed to take the exam for that session.

Candidates are allowed to bring into the examination room the following: Pens; rulers; pencils; erasers; set squares; graphing rulers; drawing tools; handheld calculators without text editing function, without memory cards, without integrated periodic table of chemical elements; historical and geographical atlas for grade 9 - geography section (according to the 2018 GeneralEducation Program - Vietnam Education Publishing House).

Prohibited from bringing into the exam room : Carbon paper, erasers, alcoholic beverages; weapons and explosives, flammable substances; documents, communication equipment (receiving, broadcasting information, recording audio, video) or containing information to cheat during the exam; periodic table of chemical elements and solubility table.

Candidates must sit in the correct position with their registration number; present their ID card and registration form when requested by the invigilator or person on duty at the examination council.

Before taking the exam, candidates must fill in their registration number and information on the 10th grade exam paper, exam paper, and scratch paper. Upon receiving the exam paper, carefully check the number of pages and the quality of the printed pages; if the exam paper is found to be missing pages or torn, damaged, smudged, or faded, it must be reported immediately to the invigilator, no later than 5 (five) minutes from the start of the exam time.

Candidates may only leave the examination room after 2/3 of the exam time and must submit their exam papers, exam questions and scratch paper before leaving the examination room or examination area; if candidates must temporarily leave the examination room, the examination room supervisor must notify the invigilator to coordinate implementation; candidates leaving the examination room or examination area in case of emergency must be supervised by the police and the invigilator until the end of the exam session and must be decided by the chairman of the examination council.

When the signal for the end of the 10th grade exam is given, you must stop working immediately and keep the exam papers. When submitting the exam papers, you must clearly state the number of exam papers submitted and sign the confirmation on the 2 exam receipts; candidates who cannot complete the exam must also submit the exam papers.
