(CPV) - The final round of the 2nd “STARTUP LAUNCHPAD” competition in 2024 will see the participation of 10 competing teams. This is not only a playground to satisfy the passion for startups and creativity of students in the capital, but also a bridge between excellent, highly feasible startup ideas and projects with practical resources and support.
On the afternoon of December 24, the City Youth Union and the Hanoi Student Association organized the final round of the 2nd "STARTUP LAUNCHPAD" competition in 2024.

According to Deputy Secretary of the City Youth Union, Chairman of the Hanoi Student Association Nguyen Tien Hung, Vietnam is entering a new era - the era of national growth, an era in which we must dare to think big, dare to do big and dare to surpass our own limits. In that context, Hanoi has been strongly implementing policies to encourage startups and innovation, while creating a favorable environment for young people to realize their aspirations.
The Startup Launchpad Competition is one of the demonstrations of the creativity, initiative and pioneering spirit of the capital's youth in promoting the development of science and technology, innovation and startups.
This is not only a playground to satisfy the passion for startups and creativity of students in the capital, but also a bridge between excellent and highly feasible startup ideas and projects with resources and practical support to create a "launch pad" to bring those ideas and projects closer to the market and community, contributing to building a strong, modern and sustainable startup ecosystem for the capital.
Hopefully, this playground will arouse the entrepreneurial spirit of students and young people, and the "seeds" of entrepreneurship today will be cultivated and developed, contributing to making science, technology and innovation truly become the main driving force for the socio -economic development of the capital; making Hanoi become the leading center of scientific research, technology development and innovation in the country.

After launching, the competition has gathered nearly 50 excellent projects, winning high prizes in startup competitions from 17 universities, colleges and academies in the city.
The 10 projects participating in the final round of the 2nd “STARTUP LAUNCHPAD” competition are all associated with practical and meaningful products for life, many of which have been produced for the market. To prepare for the final round, the 10 excellent projects and ideas of the competition have participated in “incubation” activities with a series of training seminars to perfect their ideas and products.
In the final round, the teams presented to the Jury, which included experts, managers, entrepreneurs, and leading investment funds in the startup field, ready to invest in potential projects.
As a result, the First Prize went to the team Neural of Things - Awake Drive - A system to monitor and maintain driver alertness using brainwave technology (Hanoi University of Science and Technology) with the award including a Certificate of Merit from the Hanoi Youth Union; 30 million VND in cash and being invited to be a "Startup Ambassador" in startup competitions organized by the Hanoi Youth Union - Student Association in 2025.
