General rehearsal of the opening program of the 13th National Ethnic Minority Sports Festival, Region I, 2023

On November 16, 2023, at the flower garden of Cao Bang City Center, the rehearsal program for the Opening Ceremony of the 13th National Ethnic Minority Sports Festival, Region I, 2023 took place. Attending were comrade: Trinh Truong Huy, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Festival and leaders representing the Departments, branches and sectors of the province .

At the rehearsal, the contents according to the script of the Opening Ceremony took place with the gathering blocks, the force demonstration blocks including: National flag procession, competition symbols, Uncle Ho's portrait palanquin, red flag block. The opening ceremony will take place at 8:00 a.m. on November 18, 2023 at the flower garden of Cao Bang city center.

The competition takes place from November 16 to 24, 2023 with the participation of 19 provinces and cities and nearly 800 athletes. Of which, Cao Bang delegation has 115 athletes participating. The athlete delegations compete in 9 events including: 7-a-side men's football, volleyball, cross-country, stick pushing, tug of war, crossbow shooting, con throwing, tu lu and grass weaving with 19 participating ethnic groups: Bo Y, Co Lao, Cao Lan, Giay, Ha Nhi, Hoa, Lo Lo, Mong, Muong, Nung, Pa Co, San Chi, San Diu, Tay, Thai, Tho, Thu Lao, Tu Di, Van Kieu. Competition venues: Cao Bang City Stadium, Training and Competition House of the Provincial Sports and Arts Training and Competition Center, City Center Flower Garden; Backyard of the Provincial Center Cultural House.

Comrade Trinh Truong Huy, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Contest, directed the rehearsal program of the Opening Ceremony.

The 13th National Ethnic Minority Sports Festival, Region I in 2023 is an opportunity for Cao Bang to introduce to friends inside and outside the province its historical and cultural traditions, revolutionary homeland; through the Festival, ethnic minority athletes have the opportunity to meet, exchange and share experiences, contributing to strengthening solidarity and friendship, creating closer relationships in the Vietnamese ethnic community./.
