Summary of 50 years of national literature and art

Summarizing 50 years of Vietnamese literature and art after the country's reunification is a major policy, concluded and directed by the Secretariat, with many important activities, focusing on comprehensively and deeply evaluating Vietnamese literature and art 50 years after the country's reunification.

The summary activities contribute to continuing to raise awareness and responsibility of the political system, cadres, party members and people of all walks of life, especially the young generation, about the position and role of literature and art; together clarifying and appreciating more the contributions of literature and art in addition to honoring and practically caring for the team of artists; helping the team of artists nationwide to more deeply, comprehensively and synchronously grasp Ho Chi Minh's thought and the Party's guidelines on culture and art.

These summary activities are of great scale, significance and significance, directly contributing to the celebration of the 50th anniversary of National Reunification Day; practically implementing the conclusion of the Politburo on continuing to implement Resolution No. 23-NQ/TW of the 10th Politburo on continuing to build and develop literature and art in the new period.

At the meeting, the Steering Committee listened to a number of representatives of leaders of departments, ministries, branches and localities reporting on the results after the Summary Plan was issued. The members of the Steering Committee gave their opinions and contributions to some aspects of the summary plan of the agencies and units assigned to be in charge. The provincial Party Committees, city Party Committees, Party Committees directly under the Central Committee and relevant agencies and units have basically completed the issuance of the summary plan.

On behalf of the Party Central Committee Secretariat and the leadership of the Central Propaganda Department, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia requested the members of the Steering Committee to continue to deeply study the purpose, requirements, content, and methods of the summary according to the plan, pay attention to directing relevant agencies and units to promote the spirit of initiative and creativity, strengthen coordination, and well implement a number of basic contents: Review and complete the planning, arrange resources to ensure implementation; Focus on directing thorough and thoughtful preparations to successfully organize the National Literature and Arts Conference to summarize 50 years of Vietnamese literature and arts after the country's reunification under the direction of the Secretariat; Innovate content and methods, increase the application of modern technology, promote information and propaganda in diverse and vivid forms about the summary activities; Focus on reflecting the content, meaning, achievements of literature, art and the role and contributions of the country's artists...
