On the afternoon of May 26, the Department of Education and Training held the Closing Ceremony of the Provincial Competition for Excellent Homeroom Teachers of Secondary and High Schools for the 2024-2025 school year.

The total number of teachers registered to participate in the Provincial Competition for Excellent Middle and High School Homeroom Teachers in the 2024-2025 school year is 147 teachers, including 76 middle school homeroom teachers and 71 high school homeroom teachers.

Each teacher participating in the contest will perform 2 parts: Practice 1 period of organizingeducational activities (class organization period or experiential activity period or experiential activity period, career guidance) according to the educational plan of the unit at the time of the contest; present 1 measure to contribute to improving the quality of the individual's homeroom work at the educational institution where the teacher is working, presentation duration not exceeding 30 minutes.

The provincial competition for excellent homeroom teachers in secondary and high schools is held every four years to assess the current situation of the teaching staff, creating opportunities for teachers to self-study and self-improve to meet the requirements of educational innovation. At the same time, it commends and promotes advanced models, contributing to creating motivation and developing the province's educational career.

As a result, 141 teachers were recognized as excellent homeroom teachers at the provincial level in junior high and high schools; including 34 A prizes; 62 B prizes and 45 C prizes.
