Ho Chi Minh City ready for night race

This year’s event will be held to celebrate the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh and the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South. This is an opportunity to promote the image of Ho Chi Minh City as a dynamic city at night, while promoting the spirit of sports and a healthy lifestyle.

This year’s race will take place from May 17 to 18, with three main distances: 5 km, 10 km and 21 km. Runners will run through iconic landmarks of the city. The 21 km distance will start at 23:55 on May 17, followed by the 10 km at 00:20 and the 5 km at 00:35 on May 18. The event is expected to attract more than 4,000 athletes from home and abroad.

In addition to the main awards, the Organizing Committee also organizes interesting competitions such as couples competitions, team competitions, along with attractive accompanying activities such as "Shake Out Run", the talk show series "Together We Run - Together We Share", and the "Runner's Show" area for athletes who love music .

A special feature of the tournament is the "Saigon Corner" culinary space, which serves typical Saigon street food, imbued with local culture.
